savage 64f .22 ?

I guess no one can pick a rifle out for some one with out getting in trouble because buying a gun is such a personal thing. The savages do have iffy triggers but can be made accurate with a trigger replacement job. You might find one out of the box that is acceptable to you though. They are noted for their accuracy with good triggers. as a side note I got rid of a Savage Striker sport just because of the trigger yet the next guy that buys it may love it as I said it is a personal thing. I would look at different guns and buy one that you feel has the best trigger. Most of the 22's out there today are capable of shooting acceptable accuracy. As in all rifles you will have to shoot different brands of ammo to see what it likes best. Good luck. Jim
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

I too am interested in buying a Savage model 64f, but I have been unable to find a dealer here in southwest Virginia. Does anyone know where I could order one of these rifles, or if it is possible to purchase one directly from Savage Arms? Any help is greatly appreciated.
