7.62x39 bore size

Anyone hear what they are boring the new Handy in 7.62x39?
Ruger does theirs in .308 but the "real" bore is .311
I really wann abore one to .303 brit so if its gonna be .311 I'm headed in the right direction.

It's a .311" with a 1:9¾" twist rate, per H&R Customer Service.
