2 stage triggers have  been a source of trouble in duty weapons they  walk a lot of there pins and  make the gun usless ost guys running them in the leo classes have anti walk pins placed on them  after a few hundred rounds down range they are made for  matches not duty grade guns and there are slower to trigger reset  as well  i should this in class for a dept by  letting them try out 2 of the same guns one with a a 2 stage and one with a single stage  the times were much faster with the single stage than the two stagge and there was no loss of accuracy at 100yds or  less between the two.... i have seen to many 2 stage triggers go bad in leo classes with full auto and semi

I always thought the two stage trigger was an upgrade. I'm no expert on AR's though. I only have one so far.
