IVE BEEN LOOKING for a ultra wanted a 270 or 25/06 well today i bought a 243 i think i will really like it. it is new and i was wondering if there are any tups or tricks i could do as i set it up? i have a bushnell banner 3x9x40 that i will use for now. i here these guns shoot really well. i hope so.....

Check the FAQs at the top of this forum and you will find all kinds of info on these rifles .

The first thing you want to do is clean it very well and make sure that the crown of the muzzle does not have any nicks in it .

You will want to try a few diffrent  types of ammo to see which one it likes best .
