sight in tip needed for .223
« on: January 22, 2006, 06:33:06 PM »
got the new fluted .223 and was wondering what  a 50 yard sight in will give me with the 45 grain jhp by winchester.  did some searching but really have not found the answer.  1.2 high at 100 dead on at 200.  how about dead on at 50?  might be a dumb question and a no brainer for some but just need some help.  thanks guys ---jeff

Maybe this will help...reported velocity of the 45gr whitebox is closer to 3200-3400fps in an Ultra.

sight it dead on at 50 yards, it will be about on at 100 and an inch low at 200.  Larry
