New handgun ammo

I thought that I'd pass along a couple of new types of ammunition that I saw in Cabela's 2006 shooters catalog.  The fusion rifle ammo has been given good marks from everything I've read, hopefully the pistol ammo will be just as good.  And well, Barnes expanders are Barnes expanders....excellent bullets.  Check them out....

:x I don't buy from Cabelas.  In addition to having high prices on most of their items, they fire employees for exercizing their constitutional right of Freedom of Speech.

I'm not saying that you need to purchase anything from Cabela's, I was just saying that there is a few new brands of ammunition out that look like they would be worth a "test drive" so to speak for hunting.
While I don't agree at all with the illegal immigration situation now-a-days, I don't know the entire circumstances pertaining to the Cabela's story.  After reading that, it seems to me that it is a one sided story, and leaves more questions than answers.  Before it starts a huge argument, I'll just leave it at that.
Anyhow, I figure that I'd let you guys know about some new pistol ammunition for this year.

I wonder how the .44 mag fusions would work on hogs? What do you think?

I can't really tell from the pictures whether or not they are soft points or hollow points.  It kind of looks like a real shallow hollow point.  If however, they are a soft point, I bet it would work good on smaller meat hogs.  With that said, I've never hunted hogs, hopefully this summer.  I will have to pass the ball to someone else on this subject though.

That Barnes bullet will not let you down. They open when they should, hold together, and go deep. Just like a bullet should.

They only offer that Barnes bullet in the 180gr for the .41 mag.The 210gr in the fusion is the most popular shootin grain in the .41.Wonder why Barnes went light weight??? :noway:

I saw those advertised on "Guns & Ammo" television. Sounds like they've done their homework.
