I know some of you pards are looking at snow but down here in The Republic, along the Gulf Coast it's running 65--75* for the past week :grin:

All this to say when do you change from your felt hats to straw ones?

well fashion would dictate the change is to be made at easter and labor day.

a belated apology-shoulda put this with the other--still tryin to recoup and my mind aint workin--and tha throng echoed "never does"--but to digress. when i was growin up, in the part of the world i was raised, nobody-hardly-changed. seems most just wore what they always wore. mostly felt.

Went shooting yesterday and I believe it's time. Was a might warm buy the end of the shoot. Mrs. needed some chores done so missed out on today's shoot.
Maybe a trip to the store will find me one today

Guess I'm not up on (and/or don't care about) fashion rules. I go by the thermometer, not the calendar. My thermometer says it's about straw time (where I hang my hat).

youse two guys--i swear--i try and teach you the right way--give ya books and ya jest eat the covers-got to get with the program here--ya can't get into straw until after easter--what is the worl comin to? :-D :-D :-D
