Ripped Ringtails

Any tips on keeping ringtails from damaging themselves when trapped?

Use the proper sized trap,On most animals,bigger is not better.Also,severalswivels used on your traps,will allow the trap to twist and turn with the animal.The binding and non swiveling of traps ,can be a major source of your problems.
