Does anybody know of any good places to hunt foe these.

Home Depot :grin: The few I have found have been in bedding areas or trails through cedar thickets. I don't know if the cedars snag on horns, or concentrate deer travel, or the ground is just more clear so antlers are easier to spot. Possibly a combination.

If your talkin about Wt ,follow fence lines,often times they will drop one or both antlers when they jump a fence.

Let them come to you. Put about 4" of corn or cheap horse feed in a 5 gallon bucket (one of the white ones at the hardware store), then bungy cord to a tree about January 1. When they stick they're head in, if they're ready to shed, it will knock the antler(s) off. Yeah, the does are going to eat a lot of the corn, but it's worked for me and others I know.

I find them all over the pasture, but usually in the thickets and bedding areas where the deer spend much of their time. When they drop here in the spring, generally the grass and vegetation has already started blooming and they can be hard to find until the next winter.
