Dan Wesson 32-20
« on: January 23, 2006, 05:37:21 PM »
I have a Dan Wesson revolver, stainless 8" vent heavy, that I have had for quite a few years, made prior to the last folks who sold to CZ.  I've seen these revolvers being advertised for some outlandish prices.  It's a great accurate revolver, like most DW products.  Are these that uncommon?  OR is it a couple folks trying to scam someone?

Any info you have on this matter is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

They always seem a little higher than the other calibers for some reason, I am not sure why.

I have the 8" heavy barrel vent rib model myself in 32-20, not sure why they go higher, but seems people ask war prices for them, not that they get them all the time.

Thanks for the info.  I've seen these going for, and going away, sold or otherwise I do not know, for $1200.  Seems a bit crazy since I purchased mine for $300.  Been playing with Lil'Gun in this lately, but nothing I would want to share as yet.  If you want to go hot you don't have any real problems loading to the level of a .357 Magnum with light bullets.
