was at walmart the other day and saw some new pellets there. They say on the box for hunting only and will give you 25% more power(400fps to 500fps). Has someone seen or try them? they look like they could get the job done on game 20 pounds and under

If you are talking about raptors I would not shoot them in a magnum springer as they are real light.

Raptors are way too light for a magnun springer.
At 34 ft. they are accuarte in the cheapo gamo shadow.
Taking on a 20 pound critter is foolsihness with any pellet rifle.
What critter do you hunt that weighs 20 pounds?
Pretty big groundhog don'cha'think?
A really big one goes about 12pounds.
Ain't no fox weighs 20 pounds. Badger maybe?
I've shot groundhogs in the head with an RWS 48 in .22 and watched the pellet bounce off the sloped skull.
Shot 'em in the chest and they keep right on feeding!
So for the curious....what critter you taking on that weighs 20 pounds and with what pellet gun?????????????
