Yep, you're right - all six of them cleared the assembly and are headed toward the Senate, but I think that might be about as far as they go. Our State Senators ain't nyc fools and Joe Bruno and Goerge Pataki both know what sort of an impact those bills would have on law-abiding people. I don't think they will receive favorable reviews in the Senate and may never get to the Governor's desk.
However, that being said, if spitzer becomes governor you had dang well best hide very thing you have becasue that zealot will sign every dang bill that silver wants in place. Our only hope is to continue with a Republican led Senate to make spitzer a lame duck from the moment he gets into office. Otherwise, you will see a jewish lawyer rapidly become a nazi and do not doubt for a moment that he wouldn't have his jack-booted cops kicking down your doors to get your guns. JMHO. Mikey.
