nuissance beaver pond (bog)
« on: January 25, 2006, 06:00:55 AM »
Hey bog---I tried to write a week ago but it didnt work.  anyway, I set up that pond I told ya about with 4 castor mounds....i smacked one the first night and then nothing for 4 more nights...no fresh sign or cuttin or anything----i pulled out and told the lady if more sign sgows up ill come back----i think only 1 beaver moved into her pond....it was an adult male...and there hasent been any beaver sign there for 2 weeks now.

Even for the money I hated checkin those empty traps, and drivin all the way over there....now Im back to gettin beavers....im in the 50's now I think....

Tim, glad you got one.Just think if they had moved out, just before you set.
That reason,is why a guy has to charge enough to come out ahead.A set up fee should be made high enough to cover all expences and a bit more.
