Anybody tried the Hicks Accurizer on their Ruger #1's yet. Ive been thinking of putting on my son's 25-06.  Hopeing it might save some load work. The printed claims sound good, but I'd like to hear some experiencd thoughts on matter. On :D

I put one on my Ruger No. 1. My rifle is a 280 Rem. Group sizes shrunk in half - from about 1.5 to .75 to an inch. I think they work great. There is probably more adjustment that I could do, but for now I going to do some more shooting.

I only own one No. 1. It is a 45-70. The last two groups I fired in it getting ready for deer season last Fall were just over 1/2" and just over 1/4". I don't think this rifle needs an accurizer kit. However, if I ever get one that does need help, I'll probably try the Hicks. I understand it is very effective.
