Model 60 question...??
« on: March 18, 2006, 05:11:10 AM »
I have a S&W model 60, 38spec, vintage 1966 or so. The firing pin is attached to the hammer via a type of roll pin more or less. I took this revolver out for an inspection the other day and noticed that the firing pin is somewhat loose or has some freeplay attached to the hammer....is this normal for the firing pin to have this wobble or freeplay???

thanx...................TM7

If the play is NOT there, you're probably getting ready to break the firing pin.
