Quick what do u guys use to grind the l/s pads is very hard to fit to the handis. i have a slip on, on my 30-06 auto it work but i don't like the looks.

I use either a belt sander or a bench grinder. On a couple of em that I wanted as big of a footprint as possible, I only ground the base to fit the butt of the stock and left the rest of the pad full so recoil was transmitted over more surface area. If you want the pad to have the same profile as the stock, then a belt sander will work best. Limsaver has instructions on the web site for fitting...

I tried a 1-1/2" drum sander attatchment for my 3/8" variable drill I picked it up at Ace Hardware..I got fine and medium replacement drums while there..and it works pretty good...just use a couple wraps of tape on the stock to protect it and go slow..
