Legislated self-defense
« on: January 25, 2006, 02:45:22 AM »
Italian lawmakers pass armed self-defense law:
Italian lawmakers approved a self-defense bill allowing citizens to use
guns or other weapons ( i wonder what that  covers ) to protect their
property at home or at work, as well as to save their own lives.
Opposition lawmakers and others protested that the bill would result  in
    increased violence. Sound familiar?
When Fla passed a similar bill the nay sayers said the same thing.
Plus they threw in the " it will cripple tourism".
Tourism is still strong( try to park at Disney) and the gun toters (with
permit) haven`t  turned Fla into the OK Corral.
One thing is for sure, bad-guys on both sides of the atlantic  now will
think before sticking a gun in somebodies face due to the "back at ya"
    factor.
