Stock???

Where can I find a stock like this can I order a gun with it at walmart?

Check the FAQ at the top , you will find a link to the factory Acc. list with a part number to order them from H&R .

And yes walmart should be able to order the rifle for you , check their web site for ordering guns , also check sports south they supply walmart .

That's the uncheckered camo laminate listed in the 2005 Retail Parts Price list posted in the FAQ. They also make it with checkering for a little more money. I don't think it's offered on any current production rifle, but is on Ultraslug Hunter Deluxe.

The rifle is a stainless .30-06 which is available from WM with synthetic stock set.

yep Tim is right they are not offered in any rifle right now but you can get the stocks from H&R also sometimes they come up forsale in the H&R/NEF classifieds forum .

I got this stock set from an individual that ordered them from H&R, only he didn't specifically ask for the checkered version, so he sold these to me for a good price and re-ordered the checkered set. So, if you want checkered, be sure to specify them, the order number is posted below the parts lists. The steel trigger guard and spacer part numbers and price are also listed there. The trigger guard and spacer that come on the SS models are black plastic, I polished the steel one to match the rest of the hardware cept for the hammer and trigger which didn't polish well.
