Booked another black bear hunt to Maine

Well I just got off the phone and booked a hunt with Stony Brook Outfitter in Maine again. I went there last October and had a great time and got a bear with my pistol. This year we are booked for the 2nd week of September. I have been toying with the idea of taking my 416 Rigby. I know it is a rather large round for them small bears, but I just would like to shoot one with it. I also have several different rifles or pistols I can take, but the 416 keeps calling me.  :D  :-D

Be glad to let you take my 416 Remington or my Sako375 WBY. On the lighter side do hope you have a good time and get a good sized bear. We have a pretty good sized Black Bear coming into town, I guess he has starved out and just looking for some thing to eat. Keep your powder dry :D ............Joe.........

I know the 416 is over kill. I have a 243, 7mm08, 300 Win Mag, 338 Win mag, 45-70 and 416 Rigby in rifles I can use. I already did the pistol thing and want to use a rifle. But then again, I have 8 months to think about it. I may even take my S&W460 Mag this time.  :D   :?  :?  :?
