Catch #9 of the Season
« on: January 25, 2006, 02:53:03 PM »
Well i'm one more closer to my first seasons goal. I sat a goal on December 25th this year, the first day that I started trapping that I wanted to catch 10 furbearing animals and today I caught number nine. I just need one more to reach my goal. I caught a muskrat in a 110 at a pond that I am hoping to catch a mink at here soon. Thats the second muskrat i've got out of this pond this week and the 4th one I have got out of this pond this year. My seasons total so far is:

-Two $3.00 Raccoons
-One $6.00 Raccoon
-One $9.00 Raccoon
-Five $3.00 Muskrats
------------------------
-Total $36.00

So I am one animal away from my goal and I have made $36.00 trying to beat my goal. Man I love trapping, its just plain fun and you make a little extra money on the side.

Thanks bogmaster really appreciate it. But I did happen to get lucky and get another buck mink in the same exact 110 on that channal in the same pond today. Two buck minks in two days. This one was a little shorter haven't skinned it yet though, but the one I caught yesterday measured 34 inches after he was skinned. He is now in the process of being tanned.
