FAB/CheaperThanDirt's TSWB telescopic stock for AR-15s

I ordered this product for $60, it claims to be for/fit AR-15s. This is the furthest thing from the truth. I spent 2 hours sanding it and the interior diameter is still too small. I tried it on my new Armalite and on my Vietnam-era military issue Colt. It didn't work with either of them. The funny thing is their quote which says it's "easy to install".

Update - I just got an e-mail from Mako Security (FAB's North American distributor) apologizing for any inconvience. They informed me that FAB actually makes two size of that stock. CheaperThan Dirt only sold one size and did not specifify which size it was. I thought they would be selling the larger size since that is what most people have. Anyway, Mako Security told me that I can send them my stock, and they would send me the larger one at no cost.
