I went to another gun shop today and he had a used but like new nef 243 bull barrel w/pepper lam. stock has the coin inlaid in it. Any ways he wanted $200 for it I real was looking for a 22-250 or maybe a 223 but for that price its had to pass on it.

Well thats a good price. Bull barrel to ya say? How about the option of buying it and than you can get another barrel.

If it was a 22-250 or 270 or 223 it would have came home the only problem I have with that cal. is that I'm not set up for reloading a 243 (no brass no bullets no dies) I think it would make a good coyot rifle and deer at the right yardage.

Yup, at that price, a set of dies and brass added would still have been a fair price, the gray lams aren't available anymore!!

The 2nd letter of the serial number prefix needs to be N or later to be fitted with the *asterisked marked barrels.
