Why is it that anytime we have a front come through and drop a couple inches of snow, the media launches into winter storm warnings? Or a thunderstorm in the summer and the media turns it into severe thunderstorm warnings? The weather center of one station is now called "the storm center". Why does the media want to try to induce panick over a minor weather event? Are they that hard up for ratings? I am sick of it! A couple inches of snow is not a winter storm. A thunderstorm in summer is normal. Anyone else notice the same thing?
