i have an old contender frame, will the new bp barrels fit on it?

No they wont, at least not the T/C barrels. They are for the G2 frames only. I believe the custom barrels from BullBerry and others will fit the old ones.

I READ, THAT YOU COULD REMOVE A PIN TO MAKE THE NEW BARREL WORK ON THE OLDER FRAMES. HAS ANYONE DONE THIS?

who makes bp barrels for old model contenders besides gonic? and how can i get ahold of gonic? thank you!

I think the only one that noew makes a Muzzleloader barrel for the contender is bullberry http://www.bullberry.com/
they are pricy tho, I had a 14 inch contender barrel and it was very good. I sold it off to buy one for my new encore .

I think this place http://matchgrademachine.com/gunshop/pages.php?pageid=21 has Contender black powder barrels in both 45 and 50 caliber.

Looks like the price would be around $385 if I'm reading the pricing right.

David Van Horn built a 45 carbine barrel for my pre G2 Contender. Great barrel!
