I bought a new Mk III Hunter last year. I like the Tru Glo sights for fast aquisition, yet can't get too fine due to the sub par dot. As an experiment. I mounted a cheap BSA dot sight. It is very accurate, but might opt for a scope for even more precision. Also, I'd love to carry this rig more in the woods, but haven't been able to find suitable leather with the dot scope. You may consider this before mounting optics. So far, mine is arange gun, and, if I'm in the woods, I'm physically carrying it, or holstering a Ruger single six. In retrospect, I may haved been better off with the factory irons, even with my eyes. I guess it all depends on what you are looking to do with your new pistol, and how good your eyes are.
