Before going to the doctors, I was watching a nature program on PBS on some national park in Croatia. What caught my eye was the herd of European wild boar that they were filming.
I have shot a number of feral hogs in Florida but I know that they aren't the true Russian variety. What really caught my eye was the appearance of the boar. The longish hair. The brownish color.
I was thinking as to where in this nation do we have some pure strains of wild boar. I know that some preserves offer hunts for them but there are a number of these places that leave a lot to be desired.
Anyone care to comment on this issue?
