Does anyone have suggestions on a Concealed carry holster for a Ruger SP101 .357 magnum  2 1/4 inch barrel?  How much do they cost?

Thanks

Any leather holsters you would recommend?  I'll check into the uncle mikes - but I am pretty interested in a leather holster as well.

If you are looking for a good leather holster but inexspensive www.simplyrugged.com A little while back I ordered a few holsters from him. Rob that is, the bigger pancake holsters were $ 40.00 each for 44mags and 45 colt revolvers and the holster for my sp101 was $ 25.00 all real leather all with three cuts for strong side forward cant and crossdraw. There is not a lot listed on his website but all you have to do is e-mail him and tell him what you want and he can make it . If he charged twice the asking price it would still be worth it, for the quality of product received. The guys over at gunblast.com had some good stuff to say about simplyrugged.com too.

You can also try Taurisano Leathers or Holsters, I forget which.  The owner of the firm is a former Utica, NY police officer who began making concealmenat holsters for himself and his buddies and after retirement went full-time into holster making.  I am about ready to look him up at the next gun show and commission him to make me a field holster for my 3.5" S&W 357.  His work is beautiful and his holsters cutom tailored to the piece and individual.  I hope you can find him on the net.  I will try and look him up at our next gun show - this weekend - and see if he is still at it.  HTH.  Mikey.

Uncle Mike's, IWB. Fits my SP101 2 1/4" and my Para P12/45. I have leather holsters, but both guns are well hidden even in light clothing when it gets really hot here in AZ.
Life was so much simpler when I thought I knew everything...

I use a pancake type called the tortilla from El Paso Saddlery.  Theya re fully lined adn cost about 50 bucks.  I liked  the one for my SP101 so much I bought some others for other guns.
