One of the links says something about a 3 volume book about the M1 rifle. With all due respect to you M1 collectors and lovers, i don't want to think about how boring a 3 volume book on that subject could be.
To keep things in proportion, a book about Mausers would have 57 volumes. I'm pretty sure that it would be against the Geneva Convention to force someone to read that.

anweis,
The books are about 200 pages each. What they are are the Ordnance files and Orders themselves. So you get to read the Orders from Ordnance and not what I think they meant. You have them in your hands.
If you have time go to the sites and you can see what you get. The Orders and Ordnance files are by date starting in 1920 to 1939. Vol. 3 covers Winchester Orders and files with SA. I call it Winchester-Gate for all the deals going on. Any way that' what the books are. Go to a date and they's the Orders.
Gentlemen,

The answer to the picture above is as follows:

The M1 Garand Clips are being Zinc Coated before the Parkerizing is done.

I hope you had fun.

Thanks again
Clancy
ps if you guys keep hitting my sites and I will keep posting data.
