I hunted moose in Wyoming in 2000. My buddy and I each shot a bull with our bows. We hunted along the WY/ Utah border. Our bulls were not particularly large but we were not trophy hunting. Are you using a guide? With 6 points you should be able to go just about any where. My friends saw some nice moose in the Bighorns when they were bowhunting elk out of Buffalo. A lot of public land in that area.
Look at the harvest statistics at the Wyoming Game and Fish Website. Call some of the regional offices and get suggestions from the local biologists and or game wardens.
