Just got a 4200 4x16x50 for 77 MII 270wsm. Should the highs work or will I have to go super high

I agree, I would call Ruger and ask. However, often when using a scope with an Adjustable Objective, the overall diameter of the objective bell is larger than that of a non-AO. Just something to remember.

There used to be a chart for ring height in the Ruger catalog---wonder if its in the new one??? Haven't got a new catalog for a couple years now.

The 4.5x14x50 (sightron)took a set of highs. It did not have AO. The 4200 4x16x50 does have AO and was a smiggin low, so Xhigh it will be.
