I saw a 44 mag. super 16 bbl in the pawn shop today for $215. Bbl was mint, still had sites, plus weaver mount. Is this a good deal? I could talk him down to $200 otd.

Depends how bad you want it.  These haven't been offered for quite some time and I bet at one time it was $160 give or take,  the first time it sold.
From a pawn shop I'd expect a much lower price.

If I wanted it I would snag it for that price.  The only way to get a new is through the Custom Shop and it will cost you alot more..sights extra.  they are only producing 23" rifle barrel now...

Pawn shops USUALLY charge about the" NEW" rate around here.Sometimes they will dicker ,sometimes! That isn't a BAD price. If you look at it as a pistol & a carbine barrel you get 2 for the price of one!
