Stupid Question

Hi everyone. I have a problem. I am new to using scopes, have used iron sights all my life. My question is. According to my bullet placement. Which way to do turn the knobs on my scope. Say I'm shooting 4 inches high at 100 yards. Which way to I turn my elevation knob, down or up. Same thing with the Left or Right. Any help appreciated. thanks, Justin

Adjustments marked on the scope turret are for inpact movement. If you want impact to move left, turn the turret left. Same for U/D.   KN
