The Jewish people are mad because it casts them in a bad light,according to CNN. Some will no doubt NOT see it because they do not want CHRIST at this point in their lives,remember there are no athesists in a foxhole!!BUT all races are capable of evil deeds,and if JESUS CHRIST were to have come today instead of back then,we still would killed HIM.It was the Plan of Salvation,it HAD to be that way.And,thank GOD for it all.GOD bless America,but also America bless GOD!!!!:money:

The Hollywood elete and the media, can't stand it that one of their own is a man of faith.  Two things have dominated the news all week.  1.  Mel Gibson and 2. Gay Marriages.  This has to be driving John Kerry nuts, it's stealing his lime light.

Just got home from "The Passion".  A very difficult movie to watch.  It is one of those "fork in the road" opportunities where a person will have to make a decision.  I dont think you can see this movie without making a choice.  A choice to seek God's truth about our need and sinfulness or to harden our hearts and just go on with life.  To think that Christ would do that to pay the penalty for my sin and that God the Father would have Him do this is simply amazing to me!  It makes alot of other stuff seem not very important anymore.

I didn't find it anti-semetic at all. Flintman has it right. It was all part of God's plan of salvation for all mankind. It brings out clearly in the first few minutes that we are all responsible for Christs' death on the cross.

The scourging scenes really bring home Jesus' suffering. No mere mortal could have lived through that. Be careful & prayerful about taking young children to see it.

Mel Gibson was asked what he was going to do with all the money the film is making and he replied that he was going to make more movies. I sincerely hope that he makes a sequel picking up at the resurrection.

I am prayerful that the jewish race will understand the movie was not intended to be hateful towards them. They, no more, no less than I put Christ Jesus on that cross.
I believe I was grafted into that jewish vine when the Lord saved me. I believe I am an adopted Jew. We could go into the law and adoption but we can save that for another time and place.
If we have any Jewish brothers on this forum i would like to say i love you and do not hate you.

Given Free-Will ,,,,,, GOD HAS A PLAN, but I believe that God does adjusts his Plan, large and small - need and behavior related. It isn't Santa that's watching ><>. Free-Will is the only reason that we're not all perfect, not all like Robots ,,,,,,, the design is to need one another ,,,, the meaning is love and even knowing that, I have not been able to reach a perfection. Jesus knew ~~~ Forgive them father.

It is amazing to me------ the thought that He did it not just for mankind  but for me. A friend said  something once that really made me think. While He was on the cross He had my name in His mind.... whewwwwwww
sobering. I know now that my name is written in the book of life. I pray that one day the rest of my family's names will be there too.

It is a true statement that nothing is hidden from the Lord.
The Lord our God sees the beginning from the end and the end from the beginning at the same time. He has not adjusted his plan and he knows in advance the thoughts and ways of us as well as Satan.
Boys tie a knot in the end of your rope and hang on. It will be a wild ride, but, NEVER fear.

The Jewish people do not like Isaiah 53 either, but its there in the Bible.

I have the DVD and will be watching it this Friday evening since I am off that night from work.
