I have bought a new NEF Handi-rifle in .223. I have shot a Remington 788 for several years in 22-250. I have reloaded for that rifle for about 15 years. I know what works in it. I was wondering if anyone out there that has a good load for NEF in .223. I know that it all depends on the rifle but I am a Superintendent in a school in the Texas Panhandle and I don't have time to spend a lot of time working up loads for this gun. There are a lot of prairie dogs waiting for me to shoot at them. I was wondering what loads have worked for others in this gun and caliber. It might save me some time. I have really enjoyed this gun since i bought it, I just wish i had more time for dog shooting. I like to use Winchester brass, dogtown bullets, and IMR 3031 in the 22-250. Any help out there?
thanks.
