In 1980 I had a severe sunstroke which laid me up pretty bad. We lived in the desert and I took to waling a lot to rebuild, of coarse carrying a revolver. Being out of work I couldn't afford to shoot it much, so I bought a mold, but was VERY unhappy with the results. I bought all the books available on the subject and still couldn't get satisfactory results.
I had been a precision machinery rebuilder, trouble shooter, and designer / builder for 25 years, so I put my knowledge to work. One day my wife was walking with me and I saw a jackrabbit at what turned out to be 100 yards distince. I said. Bet you $10 I can hit that rabbit the first shot. She said. I know you can, and the bullet promptly went through his ribs at near center. T
About that time I thought maybe the rest of the world might like to know what I learned, so LBT was born, and I couldn't think of a better name than Lead Bullet Technology. Still can't. Rest assured that I didn't invent all that I teach. In all those years there have been many bits and pieces of information thrown at me by customers. If I can prove their concept is accurate I give it to the world, but nothing I teach or say is theory. If I don't know for dead sure that what I say is scientifically proven fact I put a strong message saying so. You'll notice I don't do that very often. With a full machine shop at my disposal, it isn't difficult to build experiments to find about any answer, or prove about any notion. One time I cut as almost thirty experimental molds to prove only one notion for one caliber and bullet. Normally only a couple or at the maximum 5 molds will fine tune or prove a concept.
Perhaps this clears up any questions about why I delete many reader submited answers on this forum.
