....it's very addictive so get the goods and make it last. As far as calls, go acrylic. It's more expensive but great deals can be had on ebay. I recommend any Foiles, Primos, and also the Tim Grounds Super Mag. As far as guns, don't buy into all the hype. All of my friends shoot the Beretta Extrema because it's the hot 3.5", but I can fill my limit just as fast with my Remington 870 3" Express. Save money on the gun and get good dekes and a good call. I say acrylic because the sound quality cannot be touched by any polycarb, wood or especially flute. Just my two cents and I hope it helps. I live in goose mecca in northern Colorado and we are priveledged enough to hunt two to three days a week. I started out on the cheap, but learned fast where to spend the buck.
