My first leupold!
« on: October 07, 2006, 12:24:57 PM »
I got my first leupold a couple of days ago. A 2-7x33mm VX-1. All in all i like this scope. It looks good, it's clear, it's not too big but i've got one question.
In the past I have bought cheap scopes and expensive scopes. Ranging from BSA and Ncstar on the low end and a Bushnell elite 3200 on the high end. So far the ONLY scope I've bought that didn't come with lense covers is this leupold. Does anyone know why Leupold doesn't include them? Do their more expensive scopes come with covers? The scope came with a little book of accessories I can buy different like colored filters for the objective and lense caps.

The more expensive Leupolds do not come with lens caps. They are available as extra $ accessories at all the different levels. I'm not sure why they don't include at least some rudimentary caps.
