Hunting in Central America
« on: March 30, 2003, 10:55:13 AM »
My company is opening an office in either Belize, Ecuador or Panama next year. Does anyone know what kind of, if any, deer are found in those parts of Central America. I will be traveling there several times a year and am wondering if I should/could plan some hunting while there.

I don't know about the deer hunting, but fishing for peacock bass in the Panama Canal is a blast.  Pound for pound, they hit and fight harder than a largemouth!  I think you can find them in Ecuador, also.

Thanks Tony, I've heard quite a bit about the Peacock Bass and am looking forward to wrestling with a few when I get there.
