They've found that the 30-30 doesn't line up in the mag tube nose to primer like pistol rounds do. A fair amount of Henry owners have experienced mag explosions due to mixing round nose bullets and dropping the mag follower. It's also possible to do this with "regular" lever actions if dropped on the butt stock. Also, mfrs. do not recommend the use of round nose bullets in their rifles. Most if not all of them have this in writing. Basically, it can happen so why take a chance if you don't have to? :-)
Good luck with them 125 grainers..........gamer.

Shucks, forgot to mention. Those bullets may be a tad short for lever action ammo. You may have to load them long for the cartridges to properly function in some lever actions. If they are going to be used in a lever action rifle, load up a minimum of 10 dummy rds. to test function in the rifle of choice. If they don't work, try experimenting with loading them long to increase the overall length.
