Hey great news.
But what about service, and repairs?
I hope they start doing that to.
I love my Dan Wessons, all four of them.

Happy shooting

That's great to hear that CZ is going to continue the revolvers. Do they intend to bring back the entire line? "they ship them to CZ-USA in kansas city" where are they made? How do they compare to the last DW's ? Which I thought were very good.

I called the number listed in the above post and in a bout a week, Brian, the gunsmith  called me to discuss the services they offer.  I found out that they will comp a new barrel, 8' barrel and a 10" shroud for a 445 Supermag.  They do it in house.  He says that all services and parts are still available.

Regarding service... I sent my model 15 in, finally, because it would not function in double action, and it was not shooting to point of aim.  Got it back, repaired, four business days from the day I shipped it.

That's what I call good service.  Thank you Brian at Dan Wesson.

Mine was made in Norwich, NY (the current factory).  I wish I still had my old Monson made model 15 to compare it to, but since I don't, I won't guess as to how they compare.

Thanks for the info.  I had never heard of Dan Wesson handguns 'till I saw one in a little shop in northern Minnesota.  A Dan Wesson in 357Mag sounds like just the ticket.  Sure hope they will still make them in the full kit with 3 barrels and grips and the tool.  Thanks, I will have to give them a call.

Sent the guys at CZ-USA an email at this link dwservice@cz-usa.com and they replied.  They said for me me to call or email them what I was looking for and they would work up a quote.  Sounds expensive.  But, I quess if you were to go buy 3-357Mags in 3 different barrel lengths, it wouldn't really be all that cheap.  Anyway, just thought I would let you all know what I found out.

Don't forget to check out gunbroker.com and a couple of the other auction sites. They always have 357 models available with and without the kit. I have both the 357 and the 44. Love them both. Well worth the money.

I own a 357 I bought in the early 80's.

In the 90's I was searching the web and found DW back in business. So one by one I ordered the other three barrels over a couple months, now own the 2, 4, 6, and 8 inch barrels.

Great gun. I want another.

I also want to buy the case for it (not the old one but the last one made for the set)

I want the alaskan, but have no need for it.

CZ and Dan Wessons

I have to warn you that Dan Wessons are habit forming.  I purchased a .357 Mag Model 15 in the late 1970 in 4" barrel and carried it as a duty gun for several years.  I now own 2", 4", 6" and 8" barrels for that gun.  I also own a Dan Wesson in .22 LR with 4", 6" and 8" barrels and a .445 SuperMag with 6" ported barrel and a 10" barrel.  All are superb shooters.
The .445 SuperMag has accompanied me on two trips to Alaska.   I can only hope that CZ continues to produce and service these fine handguns.
Take care and keep you powder dry.  :D

To darrell8937 on parts.

The number of dan wesson parts is 1-607-336-1174 ext 21.  A friendly woman by the name of Genny will answer who I am sure will help you out on old parts.  I was looking for a 6" barrel and shroud, I checked ebay and other auction sites.  The price for used barrel and shrouds was generally around $150 to $200, so I check with dan wesson.  A 6" barrel assembly it was $169 plus $10 shipping.  So give them a call you may be pleasently suprised. :D
