Take down Huntsman
« on: February 23, 2006, 03:19:41 PM »
I have a Huntsman barrel mounted on sb2 frame. I have squeezed as much accuracy from it as I care to. Deer hunting is my deal. I have removed the rod and holder, and aside from the latch freeze up on occasion I am delighted with accuracy, as well as ease of use.
I take this setup down and store in a case designed for a takedown shotgun... Pretty neat deal. Obviously I do this a number of times after zero, and before hunt.... Does anyone have opinions. Should I just leave it together for good in the sake of accuracy?

tscott, I do the same because I have a 223, barrel and 30-30 barrel. There is very little change in zero on my Huntsman. The Huntsman is great!
