"Gunsmoke" was another of the great old shows.  What boy growing up durring that period didn't want to play cowboys and be the town marshel like Matt Dillon?  And who can forget  "The Rifleman" and  "Bonanza".   I love the old westerns.   Don't know about you guys but I'm getting pretty tired of the modern day "Law and Order" programs and sitcoms chock full of fairies on TV these days.    Mabe it's time to revive the old western.

I vagely remember "Mike Hammer" , wouldn't miss the "Night Stalker"  and of course McGavin's portrael as the foul mouthed dad in the Christmas classic "A Christmas Story" is a perenial favorite (especially to us gun lovers).
