To the best of my understanding there are two concessions for hunting on Anticosti.

Sepaq Anticosti has a website that offers all kinds of packages. There is another one that I am not sure about. I have spoken to a number of people who have hunted Anticosti and they all have gotten deer.

To be honest, you cannot just go up there on your own. You have to use one of the two services and I want to say that your looking at a minimum of a thousand for a bare bones archery hunt. Please don't quote me, but you'll have to check it out on their site.

Never been but have read a bunch of magazine articles on it. Taken of course by rag writers at no expense to themselves.

Why anyone would go and pay the prices charged for what you get is beyond me. Never seen a buck that came even close to being of trophy class and yet the hunts cost almost as much as TX trophy hunts. Really doesn't make sense to me from an economic stand pont. If you want to be sure of killing a deer or if you want to kill a nice buck there are many many other places more certain and cheaper with better deer.

Here in the northeast, Anticosti Island is promoted at the Sportsmens shows as a Garden of Eden or Nirvana for deer hunting.
