Need to know what this means?

i've hunted and done some targets with rifles and shotguns all my life, but i see where there are some words being used to describe how to "better" a shotgun to shoot/pattern, and also a word used to improve a rifle or shotgun.

they are:  backbored?  in a shotgun.  what does that mean in layman's terms?

extend or lengthen the forcing cone/cones?  shotgun, i assume.

to blueprint an action??

Backboring and lengthening the forcing cones are both shotgun terms. Back boring is literally reaming a barrel bore diameter to a larger diameter. This eases resistance in the bore and can be used to 'tighten' the choke in a barrel as choke refers to the 'difference' in the diameter of the bore and the choke.. Forcing cones are the tapered areas in a barrel where the shot charge enters an area of different diameter. Such as the change from the cartridge interior to the bore and again from the bore to the choke diameter. Lengthening these allows a gentler transition, less shot being damaged and sometimes better/ more even patterns..  

Bluepeing an action is simply making changes as needed to assure that the recoil lug abutments are at 90 degrees to the centerline of the action. That the locking lugs bear evenly against their respective abutments and that the front of the action is exactly 90 degrees from the threads in the receiver ring. These rings are also checked to assure they are aligned with the centerline of the action. There are other things that are sometimes done for specific actions but all are designed to evenly support the thrust of the bolt as it transmitts the pressure of the firing cartridge.  Every thing is assured to be in a straight line to insure the thrust is exactly alined, so that the action will respond each shot exactly the same as all the rest. This promotes accuracy and allows the action to use all it's designed for strength..  It also inproves the functioning of the action.. Done sompletely cost should be a function of the individual action as some will demand more work than others.. In other words don't fix what ain't broke..  Hope I clarified somewhat!

i've been hearing them mentioned, two especially for turkey guns, and just didn't know what "blueprinted" meant either.
