Swedish Mauser
« on: February 27, 2006, 10:45:28 AM »
I'm going to be purchasing a 6.5X55 Swede from a friend.  I've tried it out and it shoots very well.  It has been slightly sporterized in that the full length stock has been cut back, but I think eventually I would like to put a new stock, either synthetic or wood, on it.  Any suggestions? I know the Ramline stocks go for about $100.00 Cdn. up here in Canada but I haven't heard very many good things about them.  I'm trying to keep the price down.  I've still got to get it drilled and tapped for a scope.  Thanks.
