I'm thinking about adding a 10"30-30 barrel...dang this contender thing is addicting...
What are the disadvantages of the 10" over the 12"/14"? I know the shorter barrel may result in lower fps but will it matter to a deer within 150 yards?
Thanks for the wisdom!

I have one and it is very accurate with the factory ammo I shoot in it. The most noticable thing is the muzzle jump. It is more than my 35 with a 14" barrel. It is still controllable though. I like mine.

If you had to do it over ,would it still be a 10 , or would you go for the 14 in 30-30 contender
