Does anyone know anything about or have any experience with Match Grade Machine?  Is this the old Virgin Valley?  They have a decent website at http://www.matchgrademachine.com/.

Yes I had Jeff Stratton (MGM) build me a .204 Ruger barrel, SS full bull carbine. Excellent work, the barrel is very accurate and I am going to order another one next month. His leadtime is only about 4 weeks..........

I was on their site earlier and couldn't help but notice the CLOSABLE MUZZLE BRAKE that they offer!

This would be an ideal add-on for switching from the bench to hunting mode!

I don't have anything big for my Encore yet, just small bore!

I have 5 new barrels from MGM, and have been very happy with them thus far.   In fact, they are equal or better than the quality from my VV barrels from their best years.  All of my MGM barrels are rifle length.

25-20
30-30 AI in SS
257 Roberts AI
338 Win Mag
6mm TCU in SS

I want more, just need more $$$ first. :D

Steve Stratton is selling bases, hanger bars, rings, etc. as well as some basic gunsmithing services for the T/Cs.  MGM and Stratton Custom are separate websites and companies, but closely related.

I had this same question for some time now. VVCG built my entire gun (minus the action) and their work was awesome. Then their website and business was gone. Does anyone know what happened to their stockmaker? His work was second to none and I'd like to have some more work done.
