As far as muzzle velocity goes, how will the new 28" encore barrel compare to the 24" 270
the 26" 7mm
the 26" 300
I plan on buying one of these barrels, but just wanted to know which cal. would be best to get, and would benefit from the extra length. I have a vvcg barrel now chambered for the weatherby 270 mag in a 26" s/s It's awesome but at $3.00 a shell it's expensive to shoot and I don't reload. I plan on selling it and buy one of the new barrels
