Nikon Monarch elevation adjustments question
« on: March 09, 2006, 04:53:18 PM »
Hi
I recently bought a Nikon Monarch 2-7x32 and noticed that the scaled ring surrounding the adjustment knob is loose . In the instruction for adjustments, it said to adjust the knob, left or right then after you sight in the scope, turn the rings so that the zero is pointing toward the mark on the outter rim.
My question is, will the ring move with firing? its seems so easy to turn this ring using the tip os a screw driver?
Thanks

Don't know about the Nikons, but there are usually two screws that hold the adjustment knob. Tightening those down hold the ring in place, at least that is the way all mine are.
