heavy bullets for 22-250

I just got some 90gr. BTHP's to try.  It says on the Sierra box for 6.5 inch twists only.  Just wondering what is gonna happen out of my Savage that has either a 10 or 12?  Is it gonna tumble on me, or just shoot really bad?
